CREEPSv3 Contract is now LIVE!
We recently had attack on our CREEPSv2 contract where a malicious actor was able to find a weak link in our on chain randomness and walk off with winning a large number of bets from the prize pool of 40 BNB.
You can see more here if you are technical but long story short they were able to duplicate our code by making a new contract of their own and making a cheat function that allowed them to predict our on chain randomness.

CREEEPSv3 Changes
Let’s go over what is changing in v3 and what you need to do going forward.
Version Migrations
We built a new mint bot that allows us to upgrade version of the contract in just a few minutes, this will allow us to push updates to the contract in the future and you will be able to keep all of your creeps attributes from v2 forward! You will not notice anything on your end and can keep playing the game as you always do, as for NFTs they will change with the version and will always be based on current version.
Randomness
We have beefed up our security and randomness algo a bunch and have decided to keep the source code closed in order to protect our current strategy.
BuyBack Fee
We have added a 3% buyback fee to every battle, this will go to the buy back wallet that will buy and burn mythic on regular intervals. We are super excited about this as we want more ways for all of ur contracts to be connected and benefit each other. The buy backs will help support price based on volume, the more battles the more buy backs!
Event Weekends
We have added new modifiers that will allow us to hold even weekends that will allow limited times to mint stronger creeps or mint epic creeps to fund the battle pool.
We have some more exciting news coming this week, this update took priority and we are glad to have it resolved quickly!
